Optimitzar tarifes, ajustar la disponibilitat i millorar l\u2019ocupaci\u00f3 eren els pilars sobre els quals es constru\u00efen les estrat\u00e8gies de revenue. Tanmateix, el 2026 aquesta visi\u00f3 resulta clarament insuficient. El comportament del viatger ha canviat, els models de consum s\u2019han sofisticat i la rendibilitat ja no es pot mesurar \u00fanicament des de l\u2019habitaci\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>La ind\u00fastria ha fet un pas decisiu cap al Total Revenue Management, un enfocament en qu\u00e8 el realment rellevant no \u00e9s quant ingressa una habitaci\u00f3 per nit, sin\u00f3 quin valor genera cada hoste al llarg de tota la seva estada. Aquest canvi de paradigma ha impulsat una nova m\u00e8trica que ja s\u2019est\u00e0 consolidant com a est\u00e0ndard: el TRevPAR (Total Revenue per Available Room) o la seva evoluci\u00f3 m\u00e9s precisa, el TRevPAG (Total Revenue per Available Guest), que integra tots els punts de contacte del client amb l\u2019hotel. Ja no n\u2019hi ha prou amb gestionar tarifes: ara gestionem experi\u00e8ncies que generen ingressos.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>De l\u2019ingr\u00e9s per habitaci\u00f3 al valor total de l\u2019hoste<\/h4>\n<p>L\u2019hoste actual no compra nom\u00e9s un llit. Compra comoditat, gastronomia, benestar, experi\u00e8ncies, serveis i, cada vegada m\u00e9s, personalitzaci\u00f3. En aquest context, limitar el Revenue Management a l\u2019habitaci\u00f3 implica deixar ingressos sobre la taula. Restauraci\u00f3, spa, p\u00e0rquing, early check-in, late check-out, esdeveniments, activitats locals o serveis pr\u00e8mium formen part del mateix ecosistema econ\u00f2mic.<\/p>\n<p>Els hotels m\u00e9s avan\u00e7ats ja operen sota models en qu\u00e8 cada departament \u00e9s una unitat generadora d\u2019ingressos, connectada a una estrat\u00e8gia global. Aix\u00f2 permet entendre la rendibilitat d\u2019una manera m\u00e9s realista i prendre decisions basades en l\u2019impacte total del client, no en sitges operatives. El resultat \u00e9s una gesti\u00f3 m\u00e9s eficient, coherent i alineada amb el comportament real de l\u2019hoste.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4>El nou rol del revenue manager<\/h4>\n<p>Aquesta evoluci\u00f3 transforma profundament el rol del revenue manager. Deixa de ser un perfil centrat exclusivament en preus i en la previsi\u00f3 d\u2019habitacions per convertir-se en un estrateg comercial transversal.
