FITUR 2026, organised by IFEMA MADRID, closed its doors with a clearly positive balance, reaffirming its strength as an essential meeting point for the tourism industry. The fair slightly exceeded 255,000 visitors over its five days, consolidating the professional figures of the previous edition —155,000 attendees— and recording a 12% increase in international visitors, in line with the 11% growth in exhibitors from other countries. Over the weekend, the general public once again reached around 100,000 visitors.
Our CEO, Francesc González, once again had a notable presence at this year’s edition, first by being nominated for the fourth consecutive year at the “150+” gala, held at the AdQuiver space and organised by Sergestur —an initiative that recognises the most influential personalities in Spanish tourism— and second, by participating in the Revenue Nomads Show with the talk “Revenue Wars – Humans vs. Algorithms”. He was joined by speakers such as Chema Herrero Hernández (CEO of Bedsrevenue) and Javier Ortiz (CEO of Sextaplanta), with whom he shared a deep and dynamic discussion on commercial decision‑making, the limits of automation, and the irreplaceable role of human talent in revenue management.

In this edition, we once again shared a stand with our partner RevBell, a strategic collaborator with whom we continue to build synergies, ideas, and new projects under a common vision: creating real and sustainable value for the industry. It has been a true pleasure to connect, learn, and especially to greet so many colleagues from the sector once again.
